Educational Sponsorship Programme
Through Glorious Jaffna, Asia Capital is able to touch and redefine the lives of children affected by the war during the last two decades in the Northern Province who are underprivileged and who have the least access to resources, education and proper nourishment. The overall objective of the programme is to make the children in this region on a comparable stead with the children from other parts of the country.

Providing funding for education will be the best source that can be used to achieve the above objective. This programme hopes to build a bridge between the children in the North and children elsewhere in the country, and allow us to put a bit of Jaffna into our lives. The Educational Sponsorship Programme will provide educational funding for 500 children initially, with an ultimate target of 10000 children.

Construction of libraries in Kilinochchi
Kilinochchi being one of the worst affected districts and with many schools destroyed owing to the conflict, the Asia Capital Group saw the need to construct two libraries with e-library facilities for children of nearby schools. In a bid to promote reading among the children, the library will be kept open for every child in the region. The entire project is estimated to cost Rs. 6 million.

Milk for School Kids
The Group conducts a milk-feeding programme at 9 schools in Jaffna. The implementing agency for the project is an International Non Governmental Agency called the Humpty Dumpty Institute (HDI). This project aims to re-establish the dairy and livestock industry among the communities. Through its own project, HDI sources the required milk from dairies in the area and through cooperatives in the area the milk is collected and then re-distributed to the schools after the addition of other supplements such as Milo.

Flood Relief
With the Eastern province being severely affected due to floods at the beginning of this year, the staff at the Asia Capital Group provided relief in terms of dry rations to about 100 residents in Kinniya in Trincomalee.
